In this strategic role, you will play a key part in fostering a positive and productive work environment for employees across eight offices across New Jersey and our specialized practices in Cardiopulmonary, Physical Therapy, and Sleep Diagnostics. You will be responsible for a wide range of employee relations tasks, ensuring a smooth employee experience, PTO requests, Policy creation, and education. This Role will report directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the Operations Manager, Local Supervisors, and administrators to address employee relations concerns, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. Conduct comprehensive employee relations investigations, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring fair and consistent outcomes. Provide expert guidance and interpretation of company policies and procedures to employees and managers. Advise leadership on best practices for employee engagement, retention, and dispute resolution. Lead recruitment efforts of medical staff and personnel. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with company policy and legal requirements. Participate in the development and implementation of HR initiatives designed to improve employee morale and satisfaction. Assist with the onboarding process for new hires across all locations. Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 2 years of experience in a generalist HR role, with a focus on employee relations. Strong understanding of employment law and compliance regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems (a plus). Must have reliable form of transportation
