Primary Responsibilities Assist in building the HR department Maintain compliance with federal, multi-state, local, and government contractor industry specific laws and regulations. Maintain updated policies and procedures Assist with conflict resolution Write and update employee related paperwork; job descriptions, new hire paperwork, performance reviews, and other HR related forms Provide support with management consultation and employee counseling in areas such as discipline, terminations and other employee relations and issues Assist with investigations into claims of harassment, discrimination and other problems that arise Recruitment and selection New hire orientation and onboarding Employee file and I-9 compliance Respond to inquiries from Unemployment, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, regulatory agencies and attorneys Benefits administration Assist and/or conduct training sessions All other duties as assigned Requirements A minimum of 3 years working in Human Resources Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and standards Current knowledge of employment laws and regulations Government contracting, and multistate HR experience preferred Able to work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines Dependable, punctual and self-motivated Customer service oriented Strong Ability to follow established procedures and practices and follow instructions Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to solve problems Detail oriented Able to work with a diverse group of people

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
