Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the Human Resources (HR) department.
MINIMUM MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Associate degree in Human Resources, Health Care Management, Organizational Development, a related field, or at least 3 years' experience working in Human Resources.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Mandatory Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Qualifications:
Must have a solid understanding of employee-related topics, including employee relations, and state and federal labor laws and regulations. Experience and strong understanding of HRIS and related processes. Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization. High level of customer service skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Excellent written and verbal communications skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations, provide guidance, and documentation. A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers.
