Job Description

Summary Align HR initiatives with facility management by overseeing recruitment, compensation, compliance, performance management, benefits, and training. Manage full-cycle recruitment, including candidate screenings, interviews, background checks, onboarding, and pre-employment testing. Administer HRIS, maintain accurate employee records, review timecards, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Conduct investigations, provide coaching and conflict resolution, and support employee recognition programs to boost morale and retention. Provide office administration support while maintaining a regular presence on the production floor to foster engagement and monitor company culture. Responsibilities Align Human Resource initiatives to support facility management in recruitment, compensation, compliance, performance management, employee benefits, and training. Recruit qualified applicants, complete initial candidate screenings, scheduling department interviews, preemployment testing, conducting background checks, and onboarding of selected candidates. Inputs employee schedules and maintains accuracy of time off, and attendance through accurate review of timecards. Administration of HRIS ensuring that records are maintained in time keeping system, basic employee file, and employee benefits. Maintain policies and procedures ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Conducts impartial investigations and provide coaching, conflict resolution, and counseling. Supports employee recognition programs and events fostering increased retention rates, employee morale and overall job satisfaction. Provide office administration support, answering phones, greeting guests, running office errands, supply orders, scheduling meetings. Regular presence on the production floor and interactions with employees; keeping a pulse on employee happiness and company success. During employment such services shall be performed exclusively for the company and the company's subsidiaries and affiliates. Maintaining and following procedures for good manufacturing practices and safe quality food production guidelines through a clean, organized, and safe work area. Promoting a culture of safety and reporting any unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions or potential hazards immediately. Maintain safe and clean working environment by performing housekeeping complying with GMPs SQF HAACP, LOTO and general workplace safety standards Must maintain accurate documentation that is legible, and organized Must follow good manufacturing practices Must ensure food safety and quality are maintained by following regulations and company guidelines Participate in ongoing training related to job duties, safety, equipment operation, and product handling. Perform other duties as directed by management These responsibilities are considered essential functions of the role and must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. Required Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older 4-5 years of human resources experience Education / Certificates

Travel:
Travel tor industry events, visitation to facilities within company network may be required on occasion. Work Environment (Production):
  • Work areas consist of both indoor and outdoor warehouse setting, concrete flooring, moderate noise levels, and led lighting
  • Fast paced Automated machinery and equipment for processing and production
  • Warehouse is not climate controlled; temperatures very based on seasonal changes providing exposure to heat, cold, humidity and dust
Expected Hours:
Variable shifts; production lines run 24 hours / 7 days a week and requires all employees to have open availability, including but not limited to working weekends, evenings, holidays. Benefits
