Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Part Time Administrative Business Partner to support employee-focused HR operations in Rochester, New York. This Contract position will play an important role in coordinating administrative activities, helping manage employee relations matters, and ensuring HR practices are applied consistently. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, and HR stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day HR administrative support, including documentation, record maintenance, and follow-up on employee-related matters.
- Assist with employee relations cases by gathering information, tracking issues, and helping maintain clear and confidential case records.
- Support the interpretation and consistent application of HR policies while responding to routine questions from employees and managers.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to organize materials, schedules, and communication related to workplace concerns and personnel matters.
- Contribute to performance management activities by helping prepare documentation, monitor timelines, and support process completion.
- Maintain accurate reports and files to support compliance, audits, and internal HR review activities.
- Help facilitate investigations by coordinating meetings, compiling relevant information, and documenting outcomes as directed.
- Provide general administrative assistance for human resources programs and projects as needed. Requirements
- Experience supporting employee relations activities within a human resources environment.
- Working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and standard administrative practices.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time support role.
- Experience assisting with employee relations investigations and related documentation.
- Familiarity with performance management processes and HR recordkeeping requirements.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with employees, managers, and HR partners.
