Job Description

The Company PlugPV is a turnkey residential and commercial solar energy provider. We are a small, high impact team dedicated to the deployment of solar electric systems for homeowners and small businesses throughout the US. The Company is the result of years of experience in the national solar space, with renewed focus on regional operating efficiencies at the local community level. PlugPV is fun! We are data driven, action oriented, creative thinkers looking to accomplish our goal! The Position The HR Generalist is a mission critical role within the organization. This individual supports the Human Resources department by assisting with a wide range of functions that ensure smooth and effective HR operations. Working under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, this position supports a broad range of HR functions, projects, and initiatives while serving as a resource for employees and managers across the organization. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Additional duties as needed. Responsibilities Support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, and related documentation. Assist with multi-state recruitment efforts, including maintaining the company's Indeed account, coordinating with the Indeed account manager, managing job postings, scheduling interviews, and supporting interviews as needed. Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential employee records, files, and HR documentation. Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, programs, and general HR processes. Assist with benefits administration and communication with employees, carriers, brokers, and other external partners. Partner with managers and employees to support HR initiatives, improve processes, and address day-to-day HR needs. Coordinate employee training, engagement activities, and company culture initiatives. Maintain company swag inventory, distribution, and related tracking systems. Manage the HR department's dedicated phone line and ensure inquiries are handled or routed in a timely and professional manner. Prepare HR documentation, employee communications, reports, and other materials as assigned. Support special projects and other HR-related responsibilities based on department and business needs. Qualifications 1-3 years of Human Resources experience preferred; equivalent administrative, recruiting, or HR support experience will also be considered. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism. Comfortable communicating and working with employees and managers at all levels of the organization. Experience with HRIS and other business systems preferred; familiarity with Rippling is a plus. Proficiency with standard workplace technology and the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Work Location:
In-person in Troy, NY, with potential eligibility for hybrid work after six months based on performance and business needs.
