HR Generalist Posted on August 3, 2026 August 3, 2026 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations while partnering with leadership to foster a positive workplace culture. This role is responsible for employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, safety compliance, performance support, and HR program implementation. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about supporting both employees and business objectives. Position Responsibilities Employee Relations Partner with managers and supervisors to promote positive employee relations. Provide guidance on workplace concerns, policies, and performance matters. Support employee engagement and retention initiatives. Foster a respectful, collaborative, and inclusive work environment. Recruitment & Onboarding Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions. Coordinate interviews, hiring activities, and onboarding processes. Conduct new hire orientation and ensure a positive onboarding experience. Support employee development and training initiatives. HR Administration Administer HR policies, procedures, and employee records. Support payroll, compensation, and benefits administration. Assist employees with benefits enrollment and related inquiries. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information. Safety & Compliance Coordinate workplace safety programs and training initiatives. Support OSHA compliance, recordkeeping, and workers' compensation administration. Participate in safety committee meetings and continuous improvement efforts. Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies. Performance & Reporting Prepare HR reports and analyze workforce trends. Monitor employee retention and recommend improvement strategies. Assist leadership with workforce planning and organizational development. Support strategic HR initiatives and process improvements. Leadership Support Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and supervisors. Mentor junior HR staff and provide guidance on HR best practices. Assist with special HR projects and organizational initiatives. Prerequisites Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of Human Resources Generalist or HR Business Partner experience. Working knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and best practices. Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities. Manufacturing experience is preferred. Ability to build strong working relationships across all organizational levels.
