Summary:
The HR Temporary employee will assist with scanning and digitizing employee files. This role is crucial for ensuring Ohio Machinery Company's records are accurately maintained and easily accessible. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized and have experience with document management.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Scan and digitize physical terminated and active employee files. Ensure all scanned documents are correctly labeled and stored in the digital filing system. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information. Verify the accuracy and completeness of scanned documents. Assist with organizing and archiving physical files as needed. Collaborate with HR team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in HR or related field is a plus. Previous experience in document management or similar role preferred. Proficiency with scanning equipment and software. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently stand, walk, climb, or balance; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit at a desk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
