Job Description

Sochi Home Health is a Medicare and Medicaid certified, ACHC Accredited agency. We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our team and monitor all Human Resources functions. The human Resources specialist will be creative, responsible for recruiting and onboarding, training applicants, evaluating employee programs, recommending improvements to employee relations policies. To be successful in this role, the candidate will have a good understanding of full cycle recruiting and solid knowledge of labor legislation. The successful candidate will be responsible for reducing employee turnover and attracting top talent to fill our open positions. Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly at all times. Pay is based on experience.
Responsibilities Oversees the employee lifecycle:
attraction, recruitment, on-boarding, development, retention, and separation. Develops and administers various human resources policies and procedures for all company personnel. Implement training and development plans Plan quarterly and annual performance review sessions as needed Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization's compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and accrediting bodies Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status Forecast hiring needs and ensure recruitment process runs smoothly Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvement in efficiency of the office and services performed Responsible for performance management, documents employee problems, and delivers disciplinary actions and improvement plans as needed. Process employees' queries and respond in a timely manner Travels off-site, as needed for hiring events and meetings. Skills 3-4 years experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), like BambooHR and PeopleSoft Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems Solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll process Familiarity with full cycle recruiting Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good problem-solving abilities Team management skills At least a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field Work Mondays through Fridays 8:30am - 5pm.
