Shift M-F | 8:30a - 5:00p Work Location Onsite - Medina, Ohio Division d Services Team Human Resources Reports To HR Business Partner, Director Job Purpose The HRIS Specialist serves as the Human Resources Department subject matter expert for the organization's Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and related interfaced software modules. This position is responsible for the effective utilization, ongoing support, maintenance, and administration of HRIS systems to ensure accurate, efficient, and reliable delivery of HR processes and information.

Responsibilities HRIS Administration:

Manage and optimize the organization's HRIS, supporting system design, configuration, implementation, maintenance, upgrades, workflows, and ongoing development across HR functions and integrated modules.

System Support & Training:

Serve as the primary technical resource for HRIS users by providing troubleshooting, guidance, training, and support for system issues, self-service functionality, and process errors.

Systems & Data Management:

Partner with Human Resources, Information Technology, vendors, and other stakeholders to manage system interfaces, user access, security permissions, data integrity, privacy, and system compliance.

Reporting & Compliance:

Develop complex reports, dashboards, and data summaries for leadership and prepare accurate HRIS data for required annual compliance reporting, including EEO-1, VETS-100, and ACA reporting.

Process Improvement:

Collaborate with HR leadership and staff to identify and implement system and process enhancements, develop training resources, maintain HRIS communications, and stay current on HRIS technology and best practices.

Requirements Education & Experience:

One to three years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration preferred, or three to five years of related experience without a degree.

HR Experience:

At least one year of experience supporting a Human Resources Department with a demonstrated record of contribution and achievement.

HRIS Experience:

At least one year of hands-on experience utilizing an HRIS application and related interfaced software components.

HRIS Knowledge:

Working knowledge of HRIS functionality, processes, and applications with the ability to support system users and resolve routine system issues.

Professional Certification:
