Job Description
General Responsibilities:
The HR Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive support in the areas of recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, employee relations, and HR reporting. This position plays a key role in promoting positive employee engagement and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviews, hiring, and new hire orientation to ensure smooth onboarding experience.
- Represent the company at career fairs, community events, and outreach programs to strengthen employer branding and attract qualified candidates.
- Administer FMLA, short-term disability, and other leave programs; oversee employee benefits enrollment, updates, and vendor communication.
- Foster positive employee relations by addressing workplace concerns, conducting investigations, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate HR records and databases; prepare reports on headcount, turnover, and attendance while ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
- Support the development, communication, and consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
- Participate actively in the Events Committee to promote employee engagement.
- Process HR-related invoices in D365 and maintain accurate HR system data and reports.
- Other duties as assigned. Experience
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years as HR generalist in a manufacturing environment.
- PHR certification is preferred. Required Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer proficiency: Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Power Point; HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Problem solving and critical thinking
- Confidentiality and ethical conduct
- In-depth understanding of government regulations in all areas of Human Resources. o Workers Compensation, FMLA, EEO, and ADA
- Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Experience with a variety of benefit programs and their administration.
- Strong project management skills.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:
