Job Description
Human Resources Generalist
Sidney, OH Description RemX is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a growing manufacturing organization in Sidney, Ohio. This role serves as a key Human Resources partner, supporting day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, recruiting activities, compliance initiatives, and workforce reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong HR knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support both employees and leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Contract Assignment ( up to 6+ Months)
Hours:
Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Responsibilities Partner with managers to support staffing and workforce planning initiatives
Facilitate weekly new hire orientations
Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and new hire orientation activities
Act as a resource for employees regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and HR programs
Support employee relations matters and assist with investigations and corrective action processes
Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy within HR systems
Prepare and analyze HR metrics related to attendance, turnover, retention, and staffing levels
Generate reports and dashboards to support business decision-making
Assist with performance management and employee development initiatives
Provide guidance on leave administration and related employee inquiries
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
Participate in process improvement initiatives and special HR projects
Collaborate closely with plant leadership to support a positive employee experience
Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience required
Manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred
Strong employee relations, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Experience working with HRIS systems and workforce reporting tools
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting, and data analysis functions
Experience creating HR reports, scorecards, or dashboards preferred
Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certifications are a plus
