The HR Generalist serves as a primary point of contact for employees, providing day-to-day HR support and guidance. This role assists employees with benefits, leaves of absence, HR policies and procedures, and general employment-related questions while helping ensure a positive and responsive employee experience.Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:
Serve as the first contact for employees regarding benefits, policies, and HR processes. Administer benefits including new hire enrollments, life event changes, and open enrollment. Coordinate FMLA, ADA, and other types of leave; ensure compliance and timely communication. Support tuition reimbursement, HSA contributions, and other employee programs. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in alignment with HR policies and legal requirements. Assist with HR policy development, implementation, and interpretation. Support employee engagement and wellness initiatives.Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Minimum of 2 years HR experience required. Knowledge of employment law, benefits regulations, and HR best practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Highly organized with attention to detail and confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems (UKG a plus). Unison Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
