Job Description
An experienced Human Resources Generalist job is currently available through PRADCO. You will manage the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll processing support, benefits administration support, compliance, training and development, and performance management. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented HR professional who demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Recruitment & Staffing Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding. Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely placement of qualified candidates. Employee Relations Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and workplace issues. Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and conflict resolution. HR Administration Maintain and update accurate employee records in HRIS and personnel files. Prepare HR reports, compliance documentation, and organizational charts as needed. Payroll & Compensation Backup Process bi-weekly payroll in collaboration with the Payroll Specialist. Verify timesheets, attendance, and leave data for accuracy before payroll submission. Handle payroll adjustments, deductions, and reimbursements. Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. Reconcile payroll discrepancies and maintain confidentiality of employee pay data. Generate and distribute pay statements and year-end tax documents (W-2, 1099, etc.). Assist with salary reviews and compensation benchmarking. Benefits Administration Backup Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, retirement, and related plans in collaboration with the Payroll Specialist. Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and claims. Coordinate with vendors to resolve benefit-related issues. Training & Development Support the creation and delivery of employee training and development programs. Track and document training completion and performance evaluations. Compliance Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, employment standards, and internal HR policies. Update company policies as needed. Maintain awareness of legal requirements and HR/payroll best practices. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. 5 to 7 years of HR experience. At least 1 year of direct payroll processing experience preferred. Technical Knowledge Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems such as ADP, Paycom, Workday, Paylocity, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of labor laws, payroll tax regulations, and confidentiality practices. Professional Skills Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Working knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws and regulations, specifically Indiana and Ohio. Ability to maintain current knowledge of HR best practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Pay:
$73,000.00 - $78,000.00 per yearBenefits:
