Job Description

Job Purpose or Objective:
As the HR Representative, you will coordinate the human resource activities of an organization to maximize the strategic use of human resources and provides responsive service while carrying out multiple human resource agendas. You will be a link between management and associates by handling questions, interpreting policies, and resolving work-related issues. You will report to the Human Resources Supervisor or Manager. Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm or 9:00am-5:30pm $19.30/ hour
Primary Tasks:
1. You will provide accurate information to associates relating to HR policies regarding opportunities for promotion, employee benefits, and more. 2. Respond to requests for information from management, outside agencies and the public. 3. Collaborate with Managers, providing a standard of service consistent with Administration's expectation. This includes new hires, transfers, procedures, reports, policies, attendance meetings, complaints, and concerns. 4. Prepare paperwork required to place employees on payroll and establish personnel file. 5. Maintain HRIS records by entering, updating, scanning and approving changes into applicable databases and folders assuring accuracy and compliance. 6. You will conduct new employee orientation to foster positivity toward organizational goals. 7. Subject matter expert in assigned responsibilities including Choctaw Medical Leave, Employee Loans, Communication, Tuition Reimbursement, Unemployment, and more. 8. Assist with different research and special projects. 9. Produce professional communications to maximize employee understanding of company mission, vision, policies, benefits and events. 10. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications, especially Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and Microsoft Word software.
  • Follows management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
  • Knowledge of office administration procedures and operate most standard office equipment.
  • Previous experience in a customer service position.
