Job Description

The HRIS Specialist provides high-level support to management and staff with the Kronos/UKG system. This includes but in not limited to system configuration and developing strategies to increase efficiency of the HR department. Assists with other HR procedures including but not limited to applicant tracking, hiring, onboarding, employee data management, benefits administration and legal compliance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in human resources, IT or related field preferred. 2 years of high-level experience working with HRIS Systems, preferably with Kronos/UKG.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the HRIS database, including data entry, user access, and system configuration Identify areas where HR processes can be streamlined through the use of the HRIS system and implementing changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and maintain reports, metrics, and dashboards to support HR and management Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits, troubleshooting, and system testing Collaborate with Payroll to support and implement new pay policies and configurations Provide training and support to HR and other users on HRIS features and functionalities Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate HRIS with other systems Supports employees with various HR requests for assistance & updating employee data in the HRIS Works with other HR team members to ensure compliance with all GRH policies, procedures, legal requirements, and helps ensure that all personnel files meet the standards required by Joint Commission. Works with other members of the HR Team to serve as a backup when others are absent or need assistance
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Strong analytical skills combined with a high level of attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and projects. Excellent interpersonal skills to work with employees and managers at all levels, including coaching others on processes and managing change Ability to Generates creative and innovative solutions to problems when needed.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to lift 25 pounds. Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently Ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone Requires frequent use of computer Must be able to perform the primary duties and responsibilities of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
