Human Resources Generalist I Job Description:
Generalist I supports overall department: HRIS, benefits, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity; occupational health and safety. Seeking self-starter with the ability to balance conflicting points of view, demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness and must be customer service oriented. Development and management of employee training (onboarding and continuous education) Support Annual Review process with managers (annual merit increase) 401k/Roth management and support Responsible for recognition and morale program Verification of Employment Benefits support Coordinating recruitment Onboarding and exit interviews All facets of required HR reporting Update internal postings Provide back-up support for entering and maintaining new employees and all changes in HRIS platform Filing, scanning, auditing and data entry Perform other tasks and projects as needed and assigned by manager Skills & Qualifications Associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred 2-4 years of experience utilizing Paycom or similar HRIS software is required Manufacturing industry experience Proficient use of Microsoft Office including a minimum of intermediate Excel experience required Bilingual in Spanish is preferred Must possess strong English verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate in a positive and courteous manner Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent follow-up skills with the ability to follow-through to completion Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, changing environment Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newberg, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.84/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
