Job Description
Purpose Supports the plant or operations manager and supervisors in fulfilling all human resource responsibilities in accordance with federal/state law, company policy, labor agreement and Roseburg Core Values. Key Responsibilities Administer and support hiring process to meet facility staffing needsOversee and review the on-boarding processImplements company and plant related policiesInforms employees and supports the enforcement of appropriate policy, labor agreement and work rulesPresents human resource related trainingSupports efforts to achieve facility's performance KPI'sLead all HR initiatives and goals with the support of other HR team members as appropriateCreate a culture of positive employee relations and communicationsInterpretation, education and enforcement of appropriate policy, labor agreement and work rulesLead internal investigations, coach and mentor management members on employee issuesGrievance process facilitation as appropriateSupport leave of absence processAdministers drug testing policy and proceduresResponsible for the plant bid systemCollaborate with company office and other facilities as requiredChampion Company core values Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of 4 years of experience in human resources or related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this positionProven knowledge of employment/labor lawsProven solutions oriented leader Maintain the highest ethical standards in dealing with confidential informationMaintain composure in high-pressure situationsExcellent listening, written and oral communication skillsAbility to work in and maintain a highly functional team environment with a results driven approachExcellent interpersonal skillsProficiency in Word and Excel Preferred Qualifications Associates or Bachelors' degree in HR, Industrial Relations, Business, or related field preferred.
