This individual will balance hands-on recruiting with payroll and HR operations, while building strong relationships across field and leadership teams. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and confident navigating shifting priorities and a wide range of personalities. This role is on-site in Tigard, Oregon. HR Generalist Responsibilities Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts across multiple roles and trades, supporting fluctuating project-based staffing needs. Process weekly multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including background checks, documentation, and employee transitions. Partner with field leadership and internal stakeholders to align staffing needs with project timelines and workforce demands. Support employee relations, benefits administration, and day-to-day HR operations in a high-touch environment. HR Generalist Qualifications 3+ years of experience in HR with a strong focus on recruiting and payroll. Experience supporting multi-state payroll processes; familiarity with payroll and/or ERP systems is preferred. Background in construction, skilled trades, or project-based environments with fluctuating workforce needs. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of an organization. Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in both high-intensity and slower-paced periods.

Salary:

$82K-$88K/year.
