Job Description

Pittsburgh area company in need of an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a broad range of HR functions with a strong emphasis on career laddering, employee relations, and performance management.
Responsibilities to include:
Partner with leadership to develop and implement career laddering and employee development initiatives that support retention and internal promotion. Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, coaching, investigations, and policy interpretation. Manage the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, coaching, corrective action, and performance improvement plans. Support managers in workforce planning, succession planning, and employee development. Coordinate and assist with recruiting efforts, including posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, extending offers, and onboarding new employees. Assist with administering of employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, employee communications, and liaison with benefit providers. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality. Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and HR projects. Prepare HR reports and analyze workforce metrics to support business decisions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience. Strong background in career laddering, employee development, employee relations, and performance management. Moderate experience in full-cycle recruiting and benefits administration. Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is a plus
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
