This position serves as a key operational resource driving the day-to-day administration, compliance auditing, payroll reconciliation, and vendor coordination for leave of absence, disability, and time-off programs across the United States and Canada. Working in a cross-functional environment alongside HR, Payroll, HRIS, and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), you will ensure data accuracy within Workday Absence Management, maintain compliance across state/provincial programs (such as FMLA, ADA, and PFML), and deliver a seamless employee experience. No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Leave Operations & HR Support:
Act as the primary operational contact for HR partners and managers regarding leave policies, timelines, and SOPs. Support day-to-day U.S. and Canadian leave transactions, monitor TPA service metrics, and escalate complex claims or accommodation requests.
Compliance, Auditing & Data Integrity:
Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits of eligibility, leave transactions, vendor data files, and benefit deductions. Prepare reporting for state Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) programs and resolve process discrepancies.
Workday Absence Management Support:
Assist with system stabilization, enhancement testing, and transactional troubleshooting within the Workday Absence module. Maintain up-to-date standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job aids.
Payroll & Vendor Reconciliation:
 Audit and reconcile integrations between Workday, Payroll, disability carriers, and state agencies to ensure accurate statutory payments, earnings, and benefit deductions.
Operational Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
: Build operational dashboards, track key leave metrics, and support process optimization projects to enhance data quality and workflow efficiency.
