On-site 3 days per week About the Role We are seeking a Leave of Absence Specialist to support the day-to-day administration of employee leave, disability, and time-off programs across the U.S. and Canada. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Leave Analyst or Leave Specialist with strong knowledge of leave administration and HR operations. Workday Absence Management experience is preferred. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day administration of leave, disability, and time-off programs. Support HR partners, managers, and employees with leave-related questions and processes. Administer programs including FMLA, ADA, Paid Family & Medical Leave, disability, and company leave policies . Work with third-party leave administrators, benefits vendors, HR, Payroll, and HRIS teams. Maintain accurate leave records and employee data in Workday. Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity. Review leave transactions, payroll integrations, benefit deductions, and vendor files. Help troubleshoot issues involving Workday Absence Management, Payroll, and leave vendors. Assist with testing, system updates, process improvements, and documentation. Reconcile leave, disability, payroll, and vendor information. Prepare reports, dashboards, and audit documentation. Identify process issues and help implement improvements. Maintain SOPs, training materials, and other process documentation. Escalate complex employee, accommodation, legal, or policy issues when needed. Qualifications Experience in leave administration, disability administration, benefits, payroll, HR operations, or a related area . Experience supporting FMLA, ADA, state Paid Family & Medical Leave programs, disability, and company leave policies . Strong understanding of benefits administration and HR processes. Experience working with multiple vendors and cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Workday Absence Management experience preferred. Experience supporting U.S. and Canadian leave requirements is a plus. Background check required.
