We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented Temporary HR Analyst to support our Benefits and Compensation functions during a critical phase of HRIS platform implementation, data optimization and process enhancement. This individual will play a key role in optimizing data transfer via file feed setup, processing scheduled payment reports and auditing HR data into actionable insights, enabling more informed decision-making across benefits, compensation, and other HR functions.
Responsibilities:
Billing submission and reconciliation for all plans including, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, HSA and COBRA Submitting payroll files to fund 401k and HSA on a weekly basis Ensure weekly interfaces are sent and received by the vendors. Validate all interface error reports. Update vendor website with adjustments needed in the weekly validation process. Audit COBRA vendor to ensure all notices generated timely Validate COBRA remittance statements against enrollment to ensure COBRA payments are received. Prepare and validate all reports for all Benefit audits. Analyst will lead the audit, and coordinate all meetings with relevant stakeholders. Analyst will gather all internal and external data, research discrepancies, analyze and recommend corrective actions to management, accounting and vendors. Utilize multiple reporting tools to create a variety of ad hoc and census reports, benefit reports, payroll reports and spreadsheets concerning enrollments, demographic data, payroll deductions and accruals in the General Ledger. Plans Ensure the data quality and system configuration of all benefit plans in the HRIS systems are compliant with each plan document. This will involve providing system business requirements, testing of interface and payroll files and data in the Quality Assurance Environment to ensure the accurate administration of plans Develop standardized reporting templates and automate manual processes where possible Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the employee lifecycle Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all HR reporting
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in HR analytics, HR reporting, or a similar data-focused role This role requires expertise in Excel and HR analytics, along with the ability to work quickly, independently, and with a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, data modeling, macros preferred) Experience working with HRIS systems (Oracle HCM experience preferred Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders High attention to detail with problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight timelines Communication skills with the ability to present data effectively to non-technical stakeholders Experience building dashboards in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar preferred Drug testing and background check required
