Responsibilities The HR Advisor is a trusted partner, delivering strategic and consultative HR services to clients in alignment with Mayo Clinic's People Strategy. This role provides expert guidance on complex and interdependent human resource topics including employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, organizational effectiveness, job evaluations, and reasonable accommodations/return-to-work (in collaboration with RCS). The HR Advisor interprets complex HR policies, employment and labor laws, supports compliance through accreditation and audit processes, and applies best practices to support fair, consistent, and proactive solutions. This role also partners with other HR colleagues to help deliver proactive workforce solutions, including assisting with workforce planning, succession planning, and other recruitment and retention initiatives. They contribute to operational decisions by analyzing workforce trends and data, and engaging leaders to identify resources and build support for effective solutions.
