Full Job Description HR Generalist Job Title:
HR Generalist Position Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR Generalist to support a wide range of human resources functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and HR policy implementation. The ideal candidate will be a trusted resource for employees and management, helping foster a positive work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures. Support full-cycle recruitment efforts, including posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring activities. Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires. Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefit-related questions. Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy within HRIS and personnel systems. Assist with performance management processes, including evaluations, coaching, and development planning. Support employee engagement initiatives and company culture programs. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Assist with leave of absence administration, accommodations, and workers' compensation processes. Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation as needed. Participate in policy development, implementation, and communication. Support organizational changes, workforce planning, and special HR projects. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 2-3 years of Human Resources experience. Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Experience with employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration. Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Preferred Qualifications PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, orSHRM-SCP
certification. Experience supporting HR functions in a multi-site or growing organization. Familiarity with payroll processing and leave management. Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP, UKG, Workday, Paycom, or similar systems. Bilingual skills are a plus.
