HR GeneralistLocation:

Des Peres, Missouri (Remote) Role OverviewWe are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team. In this consultative role, you will be responsible for answering emails and calls from employees regarding human resource questions, ensuring appropriate follow-up, and resolving issues. The inquiries may range in complexity and cover topics such as performance management, employee lifecycle changes, compensation, benefits, and payroll deductions. Success in this position is based on availability, responsiveness, and the ability to handle inquiries with professionalism and empathy. Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer employee emails and calls regarding human resource questions, creating tickets in ServiceNow and resolving issues.

Administer company human resource plans and procedures and assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies.

Provide support to employees on various HR-related topics and resolve any issues that may arise.

Address performance management concerns and employee lifecycle changes.

Handle compensation consultations, including discussions about pay, flexibility in compensation changes, and clarifying the firm's compensation philosophy.

Manage benefits and payroll deduction inquiries.

Maintain human resource information system records and compile reports as needed.

Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.

Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives.

Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.

Required QualificationsExperience:

Experience in a human resources role is required. Backgrounds in customer service or contact centers, particularly in a fast-paced environment, are beneficial. The work is more consultative than administrative.

Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Strong judgment and quick decision-making abilities. Preferred QualificationsAn Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Human Resources Development, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.

A Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is preferred.

Experience with ServiceNow or a similar platform (e.g., Salesforce, Workday) is preferred.
