What we are looking for We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven HR Generalist to support the HR team, specifically the HR Manager and Payroll Manager, with a strong focus on HRIS administration within Paylocity and employee relations. This role will play a key part in maintaining data integrity, supporting payroll processes, and enhancing HR systems, policies, and overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is both technical and people-focused, with the ability to manage HRIS workflows, ensure payroll accuracy, and support employee relations and compliance initiatives. This position is critical in driving seamless HR operations and delivering a positive and consistent employee experience across the organization.
Responsibilities will include:
Maintain and ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of all employee data within Paylocity Collaborate with HR teams to streamline processes and improve system configurations for better efficiency. Serve as a subject matter expert for HRIS functionality, reporting, and troubleshooting Manage onboarding workflows in the HRIS, ensuring new hires are properly set up and compliant Host and facilitate weekly new hire orientations, ensuring a positive onboarding experience and accurate communication of company policies, procedures, and culture Support system integrations between HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms Create and maintain HRIS documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures Generate reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making and compliance Assist with employee relations matters, documentation, and investigations as needed, escalating complex issues as appropriate Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures Creation and administration of exit interview surveys and performance reviews through the HRIS, utilizing standardized templates to ensure consistent data collection and analysis Assist with exit surveys and analyze trends to improve retention Review and process invoices related to corporate benefits, ensuring accuracy in billing Support audits and maintain accurate HR records and documentation Provide training and support for HR staff and other end users to ensure effective use of the HRIS Be flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as directed by management Position Qualifications /
Minimum Requirements:
Proficiency in HRIS management and onboarding document processes, with expertise in Paylocity required Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Strong understanding of HR practices, compliance, and regulations Experience with data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making Excellent communication (written and verbal) and training skills, with the ability to effectively support end users Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and security Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Additional Information /
