Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Maintain knowledge of changing employment legislation and recommend policy updates.
Maintain accurate associate records while safeguarding confidential information.
Serve as local HR business partner to corporate and remote associates.
Provide back up HR coverage at long island locations, on occasion.
Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to supporting recruiting activities, onboarding programs, talent development efforts, succession planning, internal audits, compliance initiatives, leave and benefit administration, and back up to VP of HR on various responsibilities. Ability to travel out of state occasionally.
