Company-provided laptop Compliance Coordinator Job Opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator for a 12-month contract opportunity in Cuyahoga Heights, OH . This hybrid position is ideal for a professional with experience in Human Resources, I-9 compliance, E-Verify, employee onboarding, HR administration, or compliance support . The Compliance Coordinator will play an important role in maintaining accurate employee documentation and supporting I-9 and employment compliance activities for a large, multi-state workforce. Key Responsibilities Monitor and manage employee I-9 compliance activities. Track incomplete or outstanding I-9 documentation. Follow up with managers regarding missing documentation and compliance deadlines. Maintain accurate employee compliance records and Excel tracking reports. Merge and analyze reports to identify required follow-up actions. Review onboarding and employment information for accuracy and completeness. Assist with HRIS data entry, updates, and compliance reporting. Communicate professionally with managers and employees by email and phone. Support employment compliance actions when required documentation is not completed within established deadlines. Assist with additional HR compliance projects and administrative responsibilities as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred. At least 1 year of professional office or business experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word . Strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment. Ability to appropriately handle confidential employee information. Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Human Resources (HR) I-9 compliance E-Verify Employee onboarding HRIS systems Employment compliance HR administration Employee records management Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing deadline-driven administrative and compliance work. You should be able to communicate professionally with managers and employees, maintain confidential information, and independently manage follow-up activities. Previous experience with I-9 forms, E-Verify, HR onboarding, employee documentation, or compliance reporting is highly desirable. Compensation & Work Arrangement This is an anticipated 12-month contract position. The position follows a hybrid schedule with approximately 60% onsite and 40% remote work in the Cuyahoga Heights, Ohio area. A laptop will be provided for the assignment.
