If you believe you're right for the job, this is the place to prove it! MJH Life Sciences is looking for an Human Resources Specialist to join our People Operations team. The HR Specialist will be responsible for being a key partner in supporting our department leaders and their teams through strategy, execution, employee relations, performance management, compensation, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), and employee engagement! Key Responsibilities Understand strategic business objectives and educate business leadership on HR best practices such as talent management, employee engagement, performance optimization, succession planning and other HR functions Conduct meetings with assigned departments and leaders on an ongoing basis to discuss and strategize the best way to support business and professional development needs Provide guidance to manage and resolve employee relations issues as they arise Help maintain a positive work environment and contribute to employee engagement Ensure accurate record-keeping and data management related to HR activities Handle confidential HR documents and information with discretion. Address employee questions and concerns, providing guidance and solutions. Complete employee relations and administrative tasks throughout the associate lifecycle including exit interviews, stay interviews, terminations, FMLA discussions, and HRIS business process tasks Guide leadership in team and individual development, compensation review, and goal setting on an ongoing basis Utilize HR knowledge to collaborate closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase effectiveness and retention Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation Complete other HR team special projects as needed
