Job Description

Cozen O'Connor is seeking a full time Legal Talent Specialist to join the recruiting team. The position will reside in Philadelphia on a hybrid schedule and will be responsible for firm-wide recruiting efforts and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have law firm experience, preferably with attorney recruiting. Responsibilities Facilitate lateral attorney recruiting in coordination with the Manager of Legal Recruiting Oversee shepherding of candidates through the recruiting life cycle and acts as a liaison to lateral candidates throughout the interviewing process Actively source candidates through candidate search platforms, job postings, advertisements, networking, use of career services, search firms, and referrals Manage tracking of candidates, including identifying how each candidate learned about the position, and facilitating the recruiting process through necessary follow up and taking next steps in recruiting process Manage tracking of job advertisements Review lateral questionnaires and facilitate clearance process of conflicts Contact candidate's professional references as part of due diligence Facilitate background check process, including reviewing background check reports, identifying areas for follow-up, and facilitating resolution of any issues as necessary Complete onboarding tasks and partner with Human Resources and other administrative departments as needed Establish and maintain relationships with legal search firms Assist the Director of Career Development and/or Chief Legal Talent Officer with recruiting efforts Assist with student recruiting as needed Assist Legal Talent department as needed Qualifications Minimum 3 years of recruiting or equivalent experience in a large law firm, professional services, or other similar environment Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience with applicant tracking systems; experience with viRecruit preferred Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment while upholding exceptional customer service, a positive attitude, and professionalism Proficiency in MS Office Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills, strong technical, communication and interpersonal skills are required as well as judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidences Bachelor's degree required Cover letter required
