About Us:
Hinge Point Youth Homes is a dynamic and client-focused organization that works hand in hand to provide exceptional residential treatment and behavioral support services to children with co-occurring developmental and mental health needs. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team. This critical role ensures that our staff schedules and appointments are seamlessly coordinated and efficiently executed.
Position Summary:
The Scheduler / Activity Planner is responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining staff schedules for Direct Care Staff at Hinge Point Youth Homes. In addition to scheduling, this role involves planning and organizing daily client activities, ensuring that medical appointments, meetings, and other events are integrated smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive staff and activity schedules 2-4 weeks in advance Coordinate availability of Direct Care Staff to ensure adequate coverage Manage and adjust scheduling conflicts promptly and professionally Communicate scheduling updates and changes clearly to team members Ensure internal timelines and staffing needs are met Have availability to fill in called out shifts Schedule routine medical, dental and vision appointments as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and scheduling records
Qualifications:
Prior experience in scheduling, coordination, or office administration preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and meet deadlines Professional communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working with digital scheduling tools and basic computer systems Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment College is a plus but not required
Work Environment:
Flexible work setting: this position can be performed virtually with some in person requirements Must be available for team check-ins and respond promptly.
