Job Description

Overview We are seeking a Staffing & HR Coordinator to oversee staffing agency activities and support human resources functions. This person serves as the coordinator of all staffing agency functions including staff scheduling. This role also serves as a resource for employees throughout the employment lifecycle, assisting with onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, personnel records, and employee communications. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with people while maintaining compliance and confidentiality. Duties Manage day-to-day operations of staffing agency functions. Work with nursing home clients to verify staffing needs and coordinate scheduling of agency employees. Coordinate recruitment efforts including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and applicant tracking. Manage employee pre-employment and selection process- including completion of background checks, reference checks, and license verifications. Oversee employee payroll process. Serve as the primary point of contact for our staffing agency. Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy of personnel files and HR documentation. Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation, and completion of employment paperwork. Support employees with benefits enrollment, benefit questions, and annual open enrollment activities. Coordinate and track Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) paperwork and other leave-of-absence documentation. Process employment verifications and respond to routine HR inquiries. Monitor and maintain compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies and procedures. Coordinate employee training, certifications, and required compliance documentation. Assist with employee communications, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives. Support performance review processes and employee development programs. Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information. Perform other administrative and human resources duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, human resources, or office administration. Knowledge of employment laws, hiring practices, benefits administration, and FMLA processes. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and applicant tracking systems. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Pay:
$45,760.00 - $50,250.00 per year
