Position Summary:
The O?ce of Employee Bene?ts (OEB) is seeking an experienced employee bene?ts professional to provide temporary support for the administration and maintenance of employee bene?t programs and related systems. This position will provide operational, analytical, and project support to the OEB team, with a particular focus on Workday Bene?ts, annual bene?ts system activities, reporting and data validation, Open Enrollment, and bene?ts-related projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Employee Bene?ts in Workday, including a working knowledge of bene?ts con?guration, along with strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the administration and maintenance of employee bene?t programs and related business processes within Workday. Provide functional support for Workday Bene?ts, including bene?ts con?guration, testing, validation, troubleshooting, and system-related activities. Assist with annual employee bene?ts system updates, including coordination, testing, data validation, and implementation activities. Support Open Enrollment planning and execution, including system preparation, testing, reporting, issue tracking, and related operational activities. Review, interpret, and audit bene?ts-related reports and data to identify discrepancies, validate information, and support data accuracy. Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze, reconcile, track, and report bene?ts-related information. Provide project management and coordination support for OEB initiatives, including tracking project activities, deliverables, deadlines, and outstanding items. Track and monitor ServiceNow tickets related to bene?ts system issues, requests, and enhancements; coordinate follow-up and assist with driving items toward resolution. Assist with vendor relationships, including coordination with external bene?ts vendors regarding service issues, system needs, data, and problem resolution. Assist with researching and resolving bene?ts-related issues and inquiries in collaboration with OEB sta?, agency HR representatives, vendors, and other stakeholders. Support the preparation and reconciliation of bene?ts-related information and assist with identifying and resolving data or system discrepancies. Assist with bene?ts-related communications, documentation, reporting, and other materials as needed. Provide additional operational, system, analytical, and project support to the O?ce of Employee Bene?ts as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Demonstrated experience working with Workday Bene?ts, with working knowledge of bene?ts con?guration and related business processes. Professional experience supporting the administration of employee bene?t programs. Knowledge of bene?ts administration processes and annual bene?ts cycles, including Open Enrollment. Strong pro?ciency with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to organize, analyze, reconcile, and interpret data. Experience reviewing reports, auditing data, identifying discrepancies, and supporting data integrity. Project management or project coordination experience, including the ability to track multiple tasks, issues, deliverables, and deadlines. Experience using ServiceNow or a comparable ticketing or case management platform preferred. Experience coordinating with bene?ts vendors and other internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work e?ectively in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment. cations:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, ?nance, or a related ?eld, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. Professional experience involving the implementation or administration of employee bene?t programs. Experience supporting bene?ts system con?guration, testing, system updates, or implementation activities. Experience working in a complex, highly structured bene?ts or human resources environment.
