Workforce Development / Strategic Partnerships Position Summary TransTech is seeking a Workforce Development Account Representative
- WIOA to develop and grow relationships with WIOA agencies, workforce boards, career centers, American Job Centers, case managers, and other publicly funded workforce partners throughout South Carolina and assigned North Carolina markets.
This is a relationship-driven, business development position focused on increasing WIOA-funded student referrals and enrollments while providing outstanding support to our workforce partners. The ideal candidate understands workforce development, builds relationships easily, follows up consistently, stays highly organized, and knows how to turn partnerships into measurable results. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with WIOA offices, workforce boards, American Job Centers, case managers, program directors, and workforce partners.
- Serve as a primary TransTech contact for workforce agencies throughout the assigned territory.
- Identify and develop relationships with agencies that are not currently referring students to TransTech.
- Increase WIOA-funded student referrals, enrollments, and starts.
- Conduct outreach and presentations to workforce agencies regarding TransTech's CDL training programs and career opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication with workforce partners regarding prospective students, referrals, funding requirements, and program updates.
- Assist prospective students and workforce partners in navigating the WIOA funding and enrollment process.
- Coordinate closely with TransTech Admissions representatives to ensure WIOA referrals are followed up on quickly and effectively.
- Track pending referrals, funding applications, authorizations, enrollments, and student starts.
- Proactively resolve issues that could delay funding or enrollment.
- Help maintain TransTech's eligibility with applicable workforce and training-provider programs.
- Represent TransTech at workforce meetings, career-center events, partner meetings, and community workforce initiatives.
- Identify new government-funded and workforce-development opportunities within the territory.
- Follow up with workforce agencies regarding outstanding documentation, authorizations, invoices, and payments when needed. Performance & KPIs This is a results-driven position. The Workforce Development Account Representative will be responsible for maintaining visibility into the WIOA pipeline and reporting key performance indicators, including:
- Number of WIOA referrals
- Students pending eligibility determination
- Funding applications submitted
- Funding authorizations received
- WIOA enrollments
- WIOA student starts
- WIOA graduates
- Total dollars authorized
- Total dollars invoiced
- Total dollars collected
- Outstanding WIOA accounts receivable
- Average funding authorization turnaround time
- Average payment turnaround time
- Referrals and enrollments by workforce agency
- Growth in active workforce-agency partnerships The Account Representative will provide regular pipeline updates highlighting new opportunities, pending students, agency activity, barriers, outstanding items, and necessary escalations.
Qualifications Required:
- Strong relationship-management and business-development skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple agency relationships, prospective students, and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to professionally represent TransTech with government agencies, workforce organizations, and community partners
- Comfortable working across Admissions, Operations, Finance, and external agencies
- Ability to track activity and performance against established
KPIs Preferred:
- Experience with WIOA or workforce development
- Experience working with workforce boards, career centers, or American Job Centers
- Vocational education or career-training experience
- Postsecondary admissions experience

This position provides the opportunity to directly contribute to that growth by expanding TransTech's workforce partnerships throughout South Carolina and assigned North Carolina markets. Travel Regular travel throughout the assigned South Carolina and North Carolina territory is expected.
