How You Will Make an Impact Talent Acquisition & Recruitment (Primary Focus) Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, partnering with hiring managers to attract and hire top talent across the organization. Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans, including job advertising, sourcing strategies, and candidate screening tools. Review applications, conduct candidate screenings, coordinate interviews, and manage reference checks. Advise hiring managers on best practices in interviewing, candidate evaluation, and selection decisions. Manage and continuously improve the online recruitment system to ensure efficiency and a positive candidate experience. Track and analyze recruitment metrics to improve hiring outcomes and reduce time-to-fill. Training & Development Identify organizational training needs and design programs to support employee and leadership development. Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and learning opportunities. Develop training materials and partner with internal and external facilitators to deliver high-quality programs. Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvements to support workforce growth. Employee Wellness & Engagement Support and promote employee wellness initiatives that enhance engagement, morale, and productivity. Collaborate with leadership to develop programs that support work-life balance and overall well-being. Contribute to fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture. HR Operations & Projects Assist with the development and maintenance of job descriptions to ensure clarity and alignment with organizational needs. Support HR projects by conducting research, analyzing workforce data, and developing communications and resources. Partner with HR leadership on initiatives that enhance talent management and the overall employee experience. What You Need to Succeed in this Role Bachelor's degree in human resources, public or business administration or related field and two years of technical human resources work. Comparable combination of education and experience may be considered. Must successfully complete pre-employment background process. Effective verbal and written communication; ability to build and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with colleagues, other agencies, and the public; and ability to present a professional appearance and communicate respectfully required. Knowledge of recruitment, interviewing and evaluation procedures, training, and professional HR certification preferred.
