Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and driven Learning & Development Specialist to support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs across the organization. This individual will play a key role in enhancing employee performance, onboarding effectiveness, and ongoing professional development. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong instructional design skills, and is comfortable leveraging technology to deliver engaging learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deliver training programs for new hires and existing employees, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and performance standards. Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify training needs and implement scalable learning solutions. Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including course uploads, tracking, reporting, and optimization of user experience. Create engaging training materials, including presentations, job aids, and e-learning modules, with a strong emphasis on high-quality PowerPoint development. Facilitate both virtual and in-person training sessions, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and learner engagement. Track and analyze training effectiveness using data and feedback, making continuous improvements to content and delivery methods. Support onboarding initiatives and ongoing development programs to enhance employee retention and performance. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Learning & Development, training, or instructional design, required. Strong experience managing and utilizing an LMS is required. Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint with the ability to create polished, engaging presentations. Experience within a healthcare or medical practice setting, particularly supporting Medical Assistants (MA), is strongly preferred. Familiarity with clinical workflows and training needs in a medical environment is a plus. Experience with Canvas or similar learning platforms is highly preferred. Proven ability to take initiative and operate as a "go-getter" in building and improving training programs. Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
