Qualifying full-time professional or paraprofessional human resources experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of four years. Overview This position is responsible for delivering HR services to TDEC staff that include, but are not limited to, preparing, processing, and maintaining human resource transactions and analyses. Daily responsibilities involve using HR security roles in Edison, Microsoft Office 365, E-Verify, Formstack, FileNet, Jobs4TN website, Adobe, and other business systems. The ideal candidate will possess routine experience with a broad range of HR transactions and demonstrate excellent customer services skills to support both internal and external customers. Responsibilities Serve as a resource to interpret and enforce HR rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines. Prepare and maintain a variety of records and reports, such as transaction records, employee files, promotions, demotions, reclassifications, separations, terminations, transfers, retirement, job specification files, longevity records, etc. Monitor organizational structure and classifications for the department. Assist with POD's formalized recruiting efforts, including rapid hire events and other outreach employment efforts. Provide exceptional customer service on all HR inquiries from internal and external customers. Initiate and provide updated training on all HR processes, policies, and procedures as necessary.
