This position will help ensure new hires have a smooth and professional transition into the company, from pre-employment requirements through their first days of employment. The ideal candidate will have previous HR, onboarding, or administrative experience and a general understanding of the new-hire process. GNB Global's specific systems and procedures will be trained. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees from acceptance through their first day. Communicate with new hires regarding start dates, required documentation, reporting instructions, and onboarding requirements. Prepare and process new-hire paperwork and employee documentation. Complete and maintain Form I-9 and E-Verify requirements in accordance with applicable regulations. Enter and maintain accurate new-hire information within HR systems. Coordinate pre-employment requirements and follow up on outstanding items. Schedule and assist with new-hire orientation. Provide new employees with information regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace expectations. Coordinate with hiring managers, and other departments to ensure employees are prepared for their start date. Ensure required equipment, system access, training, and documentation are coordinated prior to or upon the employee's arrival. Maintain onboarding trackers, employee files, and other HR documentation. Monitor onboarding requirements and follow up on missing or incomplete documentation. Answer basic new-hire questions and direct employees to the appropriate HR resource when necessary. Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information. Assist with additional HR administrative responsibilities as needed. Qualifications 1-2 years of HR, onboarding, or related administrative experience preferred. General understanding of employee onboarding and new-hire documentation. Familiarity with Form I-9 and E-Verify preferred. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide a professional and welcoming experience for new employees. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience working with an HRIS or employee management system preferred. Ability to learn new systems and company processes quickly. Ability to manage multiple new hires and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Manufacturing or construction industry experience is a plus. The successful candidate will be organized, proactive, dependable, professional, personable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow the onboarding process from beginning to end and provide each new employee with a positive first experience at GNB Global.
