Recruiting Specialist JG Security — San Antonio, TX (On-site)
About JG Security:
We provide security services to clients across the United States. We're growing our recruiting team and looking for a Recruiting Specialist to build and manage the pipeline of contract security guards who staff our client deployments. About theRole:
The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and scheduling independent contractors so they arrive ready for their assigned job start dates. This role owns the candidate experience from first contact through scheduled arrival, working closely with our Sales and Operations teams to keep the recruiting pipeline aligned with upcoming staffing needs. Responsibilities Source and recruit qualified candidates through networking, referrals, social media, job boards, trade shows, and other channels; respond quickly to inbound applicants and screen them by phone or video. Evaluate candidates for fit, professionalism, and availability, and match them to open positions based on job requirements, client expectations, and schedule. Partner with Sales and Operations to understand upcoming staffing needs — headcount, job types, start dates, special requirements — and keep the recruiting pipeline ahead of demand. Coordinate candidate scheduling so new hires arrive on time for their assigned deployment, managing any changes, cancellations, or replacements along the way. Collect and organize onboarding documentation and maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records for a smooth handoff to the Operations team. Qualifications Previous experience working with a CRM or ERP system at a prior company is required (for example, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar) — it doesn't need to be Airtable, but we need to see comparable systems experience. Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage logistics, scheduling, and planning across multiple candidates and timelines at once. Comfortable navigating a robust, multi-tool tech stack (Airtable, Asana, Slack, Google Suite, Loom). Professional phone and email communication skills, with good judgment in matching candidates to the right roles. A proactive, process-driven approach to a fast-paced recruiting environment. Preferred Qualifications Any experience in recruiting, working with independent contractors, or project management is a plus.Job Type:
