Job Description

Robert Half is partnering with an established manufacturing organization that is looking for a Bilingual HR Generalist to support its growing workforce. This is a true Generalist position for an HR professional who is ready to be involved in more than administrative tasks.

You'll partner with managers and employees across the organization and have exposure to employee relations, recruiting, performance management, benefits, leaves, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations. Spanish fluency is especially important because you'll regularly communicate with employees in both English and Spanish.
Responsibilities:
Serve as an HR resource for employees and department managersProvide day-to-day employee relations supportAssist with employee questions, concerns, and workplace issuesConduct and document employee meetings as appropriateSupport recruiting and hiring for hourly and professional positionsCoordinate interviews, offers, background checks, and onboardingFacilitate new-hire orientations and HR trainingMaintain accurate employee files and HRIS informationAssist with benefits administration and employee enrollment questionsCoordinate leave-of-absence and return-to-work documentationSupport workers' compensation processes and documentationAssist with performance reviews, corrective actions, and performance documentationPartner with managers on attendance and performance concernsHelp ensure HR practices align with California employment requirementsMaintain required compliance and training recordsAssist with payroll and timekeeping questionsPrepare HR reports and workforce metricsSupport audits, policy updates, and other HR projects
