We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources function. The HR Specialist will be responsible for supporting employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, benefits coordination, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, discreet, and knowledgeable about HR practices and employment regulations. This role will work closely with employees, managers, and leadership to help create a positive, compliant, and productive workplace.Duties & Responsibilities:
These include, but are not limited to: Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, transfers, and offboarding. Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and background checks. Prepare and maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation. Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, leave, and other workplace matters. Assist with benefits administration and serve as a point of contact for employees and benefits providers. Support performance management processes, including performance reviews and documentation. Assist managers and employees with employee relations matters while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently communicated and followed. Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Assist with HR reporting, audits, and maintaining accurate HRIS data. Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, training, and workplace initiatives. Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information. Perform other HR-related duties and projects as needed.Requirements:
Qualifications Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 2 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field. Working knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations. Experience with HRIS and other HR technology platforms. Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.Benefits
