Job Description

Human Resource Officer American Heritage School is seeking a part-time HR Officer to support hiring, benefits, and employee records as Salt Lake City campus expands. Responsibilities Manage the hiring process from posting through offer: publish job openings, review applications, screen candidates, and schedule and coordinate interviews Correspond with applicants and hiring managers throughout the search Prepare new-hire paperwork and maintain accurate, confidential personnel records Coordinate annual open enrollment and serve as a first point of contact for employee benefits questions Schedule and track year-end performance reviews and follow up on completion Provide clerical and administrative support to faculty and staff on HR matters Qualifications Competent writing and communication skills, with proven discretion in handling confidential information Previous experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Willingness to learn new systems and skills as the office expands Position Details Approximately 20 hours per week Includes tuition credit benefit Candidates are expected to uphold the school's Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off-campus.
