Hours vary depending on caseload and availability. Illuminos hires new coaches using a cohort model. Candidates are interviewed and selected together and begin onboarding and training at the same time. All new coaches complete required training within a structured 7-day window. Caseloads are assigned after training based on availability, location, and student needs.

illuminos.co/apply Position Overview We are looking for educators who enjoy working one-on-one with students from third grade through college. Coaches support students academically while also teaching Executive Function skills such as organization, time management, planning, and study strategies. This position is a good fit for someone with a background in ABA, social work, adolescent mental health, teachers, tutors, learning specialists, and related professionals who want to expand their skill set and work more individually with students. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one academic and Executive Function coaching in person and virtually Teach organization, time management, planning, and study strategies using the Illuminos curriculum Help students build independence, self-advocacy, and emotional awareness Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, therapists, and other professionals as needed Complete session notes and required documentation Maintain clear communication with the Illuminos leadership team Qualifications Bachelor's degree required One year or more of experience working with students with learning differences Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to build rapport with students and families Willingness to commute and work in students' homes, school or the library Schedule and Availability After school hours, primarily Monday through Friday Some weekend availability Part-time, flexible schedule Hours vary based on caseload and availability Pay and Benefits Starting at $40 per hour based on experience, session type, and demand Flexible schedule Employee discount Referral program Training provided on Illuminos Executive Function curriculum Opportunities for continued professional development How to Apply To be considered, you must complete our application at: Applications submitted through job boards without completing the Illuminos application will not be reviewed.
