Responsibilities Provide day-to-day HR guidance to clients Advise on employee relations and performance management Apply federal and state employment laws to workplace situations Handle disciplinary actions, terminations, employee complaints, and workplace investigations Research employment-law and HR questions and provide clear, practical guidance Develop and maintain policies, procedures, handbooks, and employee communications Support the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through separation Navigate multi-state employment requirements Manage multiple client issues and priorities simultaneously Use technology, automation, and AI to improve efficiency Take ownership of issues and follow them through resolution Qualifications 4-7 years of hands-on HR Generalist experience Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws Hands-on employee relations and performance management experience Experience with disciplinary actions, terminations, complaints, and investigations Strong research, judgment, and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate confidently with employees, managers, and business leaders Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines Comfortable learning and using new technology and AI tools Comfortable working in a fast-moving, on-site environment Preferred Multi-state HR experience PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification Who Succeeds at C2 C2 is a hands-on environment.
