Franklin Group is looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our Corporate HR team. This position will support a variety of HR functions across our multi-state organization, including employee relations, recruiting, payroll/HRIS, compliance, and general HR operations.
We know HR professionals often develop stronger experience in certain areas, so you do not need to be an expert in every function listed below. We are interested in candidates who bring strong HR experience with particular depth in employee relations, recruiting/talent acquisition, payroll/HRIS- or a combination of these areas.
Compensation:
$55,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
What You'll Do:
Support employee relations matters, including performance concerns, policy violations, workplace complaints, investigations, progressive discipline and manager guidance.
Support full-cycle recruiting for Corporate and site-level positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate communication and offer coordination.
Assist with multi-state, bi-weekly payroll, including timekeeping review, payroll audits, employee changes, bonuses and troubleshooting payroll questions.
Maintain accurate employee information within the HRIS and process hires, terminations, transfers and other employee changes.
Provide policy interpretation and day-to-day HR support to managers and employees.
Assist with benefits administration, unemployment claims, employment verifications, compliance and other HR programs.
Prepare reports, maintain HR documentation and assist with audits and special projects.
Partner closely with the HR team and operational leadership to support employees across the organization.
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of Human Resources or related experience.
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
Employee relations, investigations and performance management
Full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition
Payroll processing and HRIS administration
Strong communication, judgment, organization and follow-through.
Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive employee matters.
Experience working with HRIS, payroll and/or applicant tracking systems.
Multi-state HR or payroll experience is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
SHRM-CP, PHR or similar certification is a plus.
