We are looking for: Professional with well-developed communication skills necessary for projecting a positive image Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Possesses excellent listening, oral and written communication skills Accurate, detailed and self-starter who possess the ability to handle multiple tasks while achieving deadlines Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations; demonstrated tact, poise, and diplomacy Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands Ability to maintain confidential information, gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems and prioritize work Must be well organized, highly motivated; be able to work independently and as a team member while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving Position will be in house, not remote What you will do: Assist in the recruitment and selection process to include sourcing, screening, interviewing and evaluating candidates to meet recruitment goals; develop creative approaches and recruitment strategies to build candidate pipeline Refer qualified candidates for further interviews keeping the recruitment and selection process well-organized Assist with monthly new employee orientation Assist with administrative duties as needed such as employee recognition programs, help with planning employee events and staff meetings Provide support and guidance to employees and managers on human resources related questions and concerns What you already have:
Education:
BA in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field of study
Experience:
One-year experience in the Human Resources field with responsibility for recruitment and selection, employment law, maintaining records and preparing reports to be in compliance with state and federal laws Knowledge of state and federal employment law (EEO, ADA etc) and best practices of personnel recruitment ACU is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Disability/Veteran employer.
