Description:
BASIC PURPOSE
Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, assists in planning, coordinating, recruiting, training and employee communications. Also, performs functions, hourly payroll, managing employee files, generation of pertinent information, legal files maintenance, new hire orientation information, benefit enrollment and maintenance, and other personnel related duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs hourly payroll. Paylocity is our current HRIS/Payroll system. 2. Ensures that all information is filed complete and correct. 3. Inputs various information, status, and employee information into the computer files. (Paylocity) 4. Maintains employee insurance and 401K files and updates. 5. Maintains and distributes employee performance reviews and evaluations. 6. Maintains daily attendance files and inputs the file information into the computer. 7. Administers the electronic data for insurance, 401K, safety (training) records, etc…. 8. Performs hourly employee recruitment and interviews and new hire pre-employment procedures/orientation. 9. Performs other personnel related functions within guidelines of state and federal law, performs duties allowing flexibility, job change, and growth of the employee and the department.
Requirements:
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of an Associates degree in a specific area related subjects or two years technical experience in human resources and general office procedures. Must have basic understanding of employment law. Must have ability to communicate and possess interactive people skills. Must be trained in computer operation to perform required duties within the job.
