Human Resources Director Supervisory Responsibilities:

Exempt Position Summary:
To use HR-related subject matter expertise to effectively support the daily functions of the Human Resources Department. At times providing leadership and guidance where appropriate. Acting as an employee liaison for all employee relations matters, including employee issues, performance management, benefits, training, development, compensation, and enforcing company policies. Responsibilities may include payroll, full-cycle recruiting, data analysis related to internal and external market trends, employee coaching and discipline, and supporting the company's vision of the employee life cycle experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Acting as employee liaison for the department Answering employee questions related to HR Mentoring, training, & coaching employees, including fellow HR team members Supporting performance management and termination processes Applicant screenings and interviews Placing job postings, dispositioning recruitment progress, Coordinating with department managers and supervisors to assess the training needs of their employees Facilitating or supporting benefits administration Keeping up with employment law, including HIPAA, FMLA, EEO, and ADA Providing feedback and input aimed at process improvements Attending events on the behalf of the company, such as job fairs, workforce committees, and community partnership forums Reporting and analyzing data related to employee satisfaction, compensation trends, and turnover/retention trends Supporting projects as needed to ensure on-going organizational success and growth
Payroll Requirements Required Skills and Abilities:
Proven work experience recruiting talent Customer-service oriented Strong knowledge of the various functional processes within a Human Resources information system Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented and organized Critical thinker Leadership mentality Ability to function in fast-paced work environment Highly computer-literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools Fantastic organizational and time management skills Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to look at the full picture of complex problems Must adhere to company policies and procedures and safety guidelines Willingness to occasionally travel locally to other locations (<15% of time) Minimum Job Qualifications Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business, or closely-related field. Bachelor's Degree preferred. 5 years of Human Resources experience or a combination of education and experience in lieu of.
