Morgantown, WV (Onsite)

Reports To:

Salary Range:

$50,000 - $65,000 annually About the Role We are seeking a motivated and hands-on HR Generalist to support a multi-site automotive workforce. This position will be located at our dealership in Morgantown, WV with minimal travel to our dealerships in Washington, PA. This position plays a key role in all aspects of Human Resources, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, benefits administration, payroll support, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is a collaborative HR professional who enjoys working directly with managers and employees to create a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. Key Responsibilities Support employee relations, investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution. Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and workforce planning. Administer benefits, leave programs, and employee accommodations. Maintain HRIS records and support reporting, audits, and compliance activities. Serve as a backup payroll administrator, including processing payroll and maintaining employee data in ADP Workforce Now. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Lead and support employee engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience. Equivalent years of experience may be considered. 2-4 years of HR Generalist experience. Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP, Workday, UKG, or similar systems. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism. Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the region. Preferred PHR or SHRM-CP certification. Automotive, retail, or multi-site HR experience. Experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN).
